hey you listen

Read this: Google To Digitize National Archives Footage
"Google today announced their pilot program to digitize the entire video content of the National Archives and make it globally accessible for free on Google Video. The history of the world should be universally accessible and this is definitely a great step towards making sure that our history is not lost, and that everyone has equal and easy access towards such information. Google has provided some sample videos from the National Archives, such as the 1969 moon landing."

That is awesome. Not only is THAT awesome, but check this out:

Google Introduces Page Creator
"Google has introduced an AJAX web-publishing application called Google Page Creator. The app is great for getting whatever photos, information, files you want published, and it doesn't have to be in the typical blog format. The published site is hosted at the gmail user page. There are several templates and page formats to work from, and as far as I can tell, everything is WYSIWYG. The published HTML is very clean, but it does have some leftover fragments from editing pages repeatedly. If you want to be precise, you can manually edit the HTML. There is a Google Groups page available for the service. It took about 30 seconds to get a rudimentary page online."

I love Google. Everything they do. <3

ANYWAYS, on to the music. I've never been too big of a Motion City Soundtrack fan. I love their music and everything, but something always just turned me off to them. But, I listened to one of their older songs, "Mary Without Sound" and it was awesome. Maybe I'll give them another chance. :D

Anathallo's new CD 'Floating World' is going to be AMAZING. Everyone needs to go out and buy it. Just do it. okokok <3 I'm seein' them live on March 9th. Can't wait.

I listend to the old Taking Back Sunday demos (Pre-Tell All Your Friends) again recently, as well. They are amazing. I can't wait for their new album, I've liked everything they've released so far. :D

Also, my Face First CD (Pre-Houston Calls) should be coming any day now. I still can't believe I finally FOUND the CD. :D Also, my 'A Collection Of Short Stories [IMPORT]' should be coming soon, too. Can't wait to hear the Piano Version of "Coversations With The Wind". Then, I'm pretty sure my Houston Calls collection will be complete. :D w00t!

Also, a good friend of mine's band was going to open for Further Seems Forever in Calgary, Canada. Now read this, straight from the band:
"Imagine you leave Fort Lauderdale at 6 AM fly to Houston. Run to your plane and fly to Calgary Canada. You arrive only to deal with a Power tripping Immigration lady who freaks out about a minor problem with the way you filled out a form. The promotor tries to reason with her and her boss for an hour and she won't budge. She files papers to have you removed from Canada or go to jail! She also informs you that you are banned from Canada for 1 year under penalty of arrest and a $5,000 fine if you try to return. She escorts you and your band members to a flight to Denver and then we wait 4 hours to catch a flight to Fort Lauderdale. We arrive home at 5 AM twenty four hours after the nightmare started. We apologize but it was out of our control. We are going to fight the ban and try to make up the shows."

WTF? Canada sucks. It is final. REAAAALLY really gay.

Reminder to myself to buy more of the Instant Live CD's from Copeland. <3
